From researching articles, I found one particular article on CNN that was about how celebrities were raising money to help people dealing with famine, which is extreme scarcity of food. The starts were trying to see if they could raise one million dollars in just 10 days to help the families that are dealing with famine to get food. They tried to see if they could fill an airplane full of food and water to send to Somalia. In just 19 hours that had already raised 1 million dollars with the help of other stars. The stars include Collin Kaepernick, and Jerome Jarre are just few of many stars that helped.http://www.cnn.com/2017/03/18/us/social-media-somalia/index.html

Two organizations that I picked were, Orphan Grain Train and Feeding America. Orphan Grain Train is a Christian volunteer network that donates and ships food, more than 4.6 million meals were shipped last year. The reason I picked Orphan Grain Train because we have one right here in Milbank that I go and help pack food, but it sends food to people all over the world. The second organization that I picked was Feeding America, this one I don't know much about but I do know that it serves over 37 million people in America and that it runs through after school programs and food pantries and it is the largest domestic hunger-relief organization.

The social issue I chose was feed the hungry. Even though their aren't many people that live by me are affected by not getting enough to eat, people all over the world aren't getting enough to eat. The reason I chose this social issue was because I've helped Grant County 4-H do many things to help prevent hunger such as food drives to fill up local food pantry. I've helped packed meals at Orphan Grain Train which is an organization that sends pre-made meals over to countries that are lacking food and all they have to do is to add water and to warm the meal up so its ready to eat. I am excited to be able to research the social issue that kills over 7 million people a year in the world.

One friendship that I would like to point out is the one Steph Curry and Klay Thompson have. Their friendship is so tight they even have a name, "Splash Bros" In the article, http://www.mercurynews.com/2015/04/22/thompson-warriors-splash-brothers-are-alike-yet-so-different/ It stated how they are so alike but still so different. The article said that they are the best tandem in NBA history. Curry also stated how they went to the beach and out to dinner multiple times to tighten their bond. Overall, they will both go down as one of the bests.

Since it is Dr. Seuss birthday this week, I'm going to do a post on the friendship that the Lorax and and the Lumberjacks friendship in the book, "The Lorax" by Dr. Seuss. In the book it shows how the Lumberjack was cutting down the trees and the Lorax told him to stop since he was hurting the environment. The Lumberjack never listened to the Lorax until he cut down the last tree. Then he realized how the Lorax was right. He tried planting trees but he never succeed. Through reading the book I learn even though you may not have a friendship with them and you don't want to listen to them, they may be right.

Going to livestock shows around the world means that I can make some friendships with kids all over the world. One show that I go to is a national show, and it gets moved to different locations every year. Some past locations are, Grand Island, Nebraska, St. Paul Minnesota, Texarkana, Arkansas, and even Sioux Falls, South Dakota. These shows bring in people from across the nation. I have friendships with people that live in Colorado, Texas, Washington, Arkansas, Idaho, Kansas, Nebraska, North and South Dakotas and much more. Livestock shows are more than walking an animal in a circle in a ring, but a place where to meet up with friends.

"Should Cyber Bullying be a crime?"
No I don't think so because everyone does it. Even though I do agree bullying is bad, but it does not need to be a crime. If someone is getting bullied they should be able to tell and adult or someone. In the article http://www.debate.org/opinions/should-cyberbullying-be-illegal they did have some good reasons why it should be.One user stated that cyber-bullying has caused many cases of suicide. A different user stated that First Amendment stated that we could say what we want, but it has caused many people to not watch what they say which could hurt many people. After reading their thought I still believe it should not be a crime because someone has or will do it some point in their life.
